Lamar Hennon's Carpets of Dalton, GA retail carpet business was destroyed by a blizzard and a fire in 1993 and has been transformed into a major home furnishings retailer called American Home ShowPlace. The new retail business is housed in a 500,000 sq ft facility and carries a full range of floor coverings, furniture and home furnishing accessories. The company expects 1995 sales of $35 million compared to around $30 million in 1994.
