Only one thought consoles me with the imminent end of the "Magnum, P.I." epic tonight: I don't believe it. For umpteen years now, I've watched Thomas Sullivan Magnum rise like a phoenix after he's been shot, drowned, hit by cars, crashed, bashed in, pushed off cliffs, dropped from helicopters, blown up on boats, betrayed by male and female friends, incarcerated in prisons and dungeons and Vietnamese tiger cages, banished by Higgins, tortured, ridden away on rampant nightmares and even bored to death by Higgins' stories. So it seems logical that this is Not the End. Somewhere, surely Robin Mast...
