`NPR decried as too white, too male." That was the headline over a recent Associated Press story, and as a white male who has problems with National Public Radio, I had to read it. It seems that a "liberal media watchdog group," Fairness and Accuracy in Reporting, spent four months counting what kinds of people were doing what kinds of stories on NPR and then calculating the percentages, which, I infer, are politically incorrect. For example, only 21 percent of NPR's news sources were women, only one of the regular 27 commentators was nonwhite and only four were women, 28 percent of the domest...
