Much of the Oct. 11 debate between Al Gore and George W. Bush centered on the United States' role in the world.

In the exchange, Gore made a very important statement: "I think one of the big issues here that doesn't get nearly enough attention is the issue of corruption. The governor mentioned it earlier.
