LIBERTY-- Adam Smith, 66, of 623 Logan Lane, died Friday, May 19, 2006, at his residence. The funeral will be held at 5 p.m. Sunday at Oakley Baptist Church, 2300 Siler City-Glendon Road, Siler City, conducted by the Rev. Brian Sandifer, the Reg. Greg Burris and eulogy by David Reeves. Burial will be in Loves Creek Baptist Cemetery, Siler City, with military rites provided by Randolph Honor Guard. Mr. Smith was a native of Chatham County, a Navy veteran and was a member of Oakley Baptist Church. He retired from the U.S. Post Office after 35 years of service.
