Lyman Cousens, executive director of the Safety and Health Council of New Hampshire, has been elected a vice president and member of the board of directors of the National Safety Council in Itasca, Ill. He previously served as chairman, Chapter and Affiliate Division, representing the 63 Chapters of the National Safety Council. A recent $1.1 million gift from former trustee William C. Cercer and Ramona Wells Mercer, class of '41, of Westwood, Mass., will support renovation and construction of Colby-Sawyer College's Health, Exercise and Sports Sciences (HESS) Center.
