When a libel suit by the president's wife signals more press freedom, not less IT IS almost impossible to buy "Cronicas Malditas" (Accursed Chronicles), the latest book on Marta Sahagun de Fox, the Mexican president's wife and former press secretary. Mexico's largest chains do not stock it, and every bookstore that does is sold out. Last week, Ms Sahagun filed a lawsuit for libel against the book's author, Olga Wornat, an Argentine journalist.
