Jean's family had decided to go to Gettysburg for their vacation. They got up early in the morning. Jean's little sister Melanie woke her up. Their parents took their suitcases to the van and they were soon on their way. Jean decided to take a short nap. When she awoke they were in front of a big, white hotel. Her father was just coming out of the office. He hopped in the van and then parked it in front of their room.
