It was a hot Monday morning in mid-July. The last thing I wanted was any problems. The phone rang. It was the facility manager at a large brassiere factory that we designed and that had been finished during the spring.
"Where shall we send the $1,900 worth of brassieres you just bought?" he asked.
"What do you mean?" I asked.
"Well, we just came back from our summer vacation today, he replied. The plant has been shutdown for two weeks. That airconditioning unit suspended at the ceiling of the basement warehouse had iced up and dripped on the storage racks. That ruined...
