George E. Abbott August 14, 2004 George E. Abbott, 79, of Eastham, MA, formerly of Syracuse, died August 14 at Cape Cod Hospital from complications due to pancreatic cancer. He was married to Rosemary J. Abbott for 58 years. They moved from Syracuse to Eastham in 1974. Mr. Abbott was a longtime advocate of historical preservation and had been an active civic leader in Eastham for more than 20 years.
