In Competition No. 2360 you were given 12 words (whose first letters straddled the alphabet from A to L) and invited to incorporate them in any order into a plausible piece of prose. I am always refreshingly surprised by how popular this particular competition is - well over 100 entries this week. No single word proved a stumbling-block and balloon trips predominated, mainly Indian ones. As ever, in judging I incline towards the unexpected. The prizewinners, printed below, take £25 each.
