Merwin, Ted The Jewish Week 08-20-2004 The bride is seeing visions. The groom is nowhere to be found. The groom's divorced parents are fighting with each other. The bride's father is looking up at the ceiling, talking to his deceased wife. And no one seems to have thought about who is going to hold up the chupah. A typical Jewish wedding, right? Not exactly.
