Less than a generation ago, it would have been hard to imagine racking up frequent flier miles traveling to Asia, Europe, Africa, or Australia, but lately our world has become so much "smaller." With lightning-speed advances in technology, our diildren are exposed to many more cultures and places. My son and daughter find it amazing that I can carry on a videoconference meeting with colleagues from Japan, Switzerland, Germany, and the U.K. all at the same time, and yet, as they grow, they tiiemselves will be exposed to so much more than I have been.
