University of Minnesota Press will publish David Backes biography of esteemed environmental activist and nature writer Sigurd F Olson in Sept 1997. Olson, 1899-1982, is best known for his 1956 book 'The Singing Wilderness.' All of Olson's backlist titles will also be reissued.
