What's a typical Israeli's life like? It's hard to say! Israel is only 59 years old, and it's a mixture of ancient history and modern life. Israelis come from all over the world and bring many different cultures and customs. Some families have lived here for generations, but many Jews moved here in the past 59 years from places such as Iraq, Ethiopia, Yemen, Morocco, Russia, Poland, the U.S., and Argentina.
