Dear Dr. Gridlock: I'm a new commuter from Fairfax County to the District. Being an optimist, I don't mind the traffic too much, for it gives me time to listen to my music, as well as take a break from people. I make sure to remind myself to enjoy the traffic. I wish someone would make a bumper sticker that I could put on all sides of my car, including my dashboard, saying: "Enjoy the Traffic." If you're going to spend hours a week in traffic, you might as well enjoy it! Meghan Shannon Fairfax Station I'd endorse your bumper sticker idea, except I fear some crazed commuter would take a hammer...
