The Washington premiere of Emile Naoumoff's transcription of "Pictures at an Exhibition," a two-piano work based on Mussorgsky's classic, proved to be the weakest link in an otherwise rewarding program Monday at Lisner Auditorium, a recital by Malinee Peris and Tzvetan Konstantinov. "Pictures" is one of music history's most transcribed compositions.
