NEW YORK Anne Bowes was nervous. Betsy was having a bad hair day. "She doesn't look as good as she did last week," said Bowes, the Duxbury woman who breeds, handles, and co-owns Betsy, a 2-year-old Pembroke Welsh corgi competing yesterday at the Westminster Dog Show at Madison Square Garden. The show sold out for the first time in its 129-year history. A German shorthaired pointer called Carlee won best in show, beating out a popular Norfolk terrier, a champion bloodhound, and a wobbling Pekingese.
