Dumas, Karen Michigan Chronicle 10-25-2005 The other evening, I was flipping channels on the television, and ran across the movie, "Twelve Angry Men." The 1957 classic, starring Henry Fonda, was about a jury of 12 men who are entrusted with the power to determine the fate of a teenage Puerto Rican boy accused of killing his father with a switchblade. The movie begins with a straw vote of 11 guilty, and a lone non-guilty vote.
