He was offered congratulations late last week, and Charlie Volpone graciously accepted them. After all, he said he was quite proud of the birth of his eighth grandchild a few weeks earlier. The only thing is, Volpone was being congratulated for another reason. His election into the New England PGA Hall of Fame.
