Maya's mother is a beautiful, sexy, vibrant, smart woman with more than a little common sense. She loves her children, and she listens to them uncritically-with the exception of her final blow-up with Bailey Jr. Energetic, she pursues several careers. She rents out rooms in her large home in San Francisco and manages casinos. She is also a one-time nurse.
