Part 2 Summary

Everyone tries not to look at Nurse Ratched, focusing all their attention on the blank screen, as they sit in silent protest at not being able to watch the Series. But they are all aware of her icy presence and are waiting to see what she'll do. Finally the spell is broken, and she walks off to the meeting room, where she has called a meeting to decide what is to be done with McMurphy. The Chief is allowed in the meeting room when there is a meeting in session, as it is the only time it is opened, and he is supposedly deaf and unable to hear what is being said.

During the meeting Nurse Ratched is completely silent. The doctor begins the meeting, opening the table up to the other hospital workers.....
