Description
Professor Xavier ("Professor X") is the leader of the X-Men, a group of mutants who have sworn to protect humans, even those who hate mutants. Professor X founded a school for mutants, where young mutants can go for harbor and sanctuary and to develop their mutant abilities. He has genuine concern for young mutants, who may otherwise find themselves displaced outcasts.
According to the comic book series, Professor X was rendered a paraplegic by an alien who dropped a boulder on his legs. The Professor is considered to be one of the most powerful mutants and is also a gifted scientist. His telepathic ability to read and control both humans' and mutants' minds is unmatched. Using the machine he created, called Cerebro, he is able.....
