Toy Story begins as we watch a young boy named Andy play with his favorite toy: a cowboy doll named Woody, who can say several phrases with the help of a pull string. Andy goes downstairs to talk to his mother before his birthday party. He then takes Woody back upstairs and drops him off in order to carry his little sister, Molly, down to the party. Once Andy is gone, Woody and the other toys come to life. Mr. Potato Head, Slinky Dog, Bo Peep, Rex (a dinosaur) and assorted others all begin a staff meeting called by Woody. We quickly learn that Woody and Bo Peep have a bit of a romance going on.

Woody leads the meeting and they begin to discuss the idea of "moving buddies." Woody explains that there is only one week left before Andy's family moves and...
