Toy Story is the lovable 1995 animated drama directed by John Lasseter. The film tells the story of two walking, talking, living toys who belong to a young boy named Andy (although Andy is unaware of his toys' secret life). The toys begin as enemies, but end up as best friends. Woody, a cowboy doll, is Andy's favorite and the leader of the gang of toys. However, he is overshadowed by Andy's fancy new Buzz Lightyear "space ranger" doll just a week before Andy's family moves to a new home. Woody, who begins to feel threatened by Buzz's presence, accidentally knocks Buzz out of a window during a fight. During the ensuing confusion generated by their struggle, Woody and Buzz both end up in danger of being left behind when Andy moves.
