Context

It Happened One Night is one of Frank Capra's best films. With great leading actors, Clark Gable and Claudette Colbert, the film won five Oscars in 1934. The story is that of a spoiled heiress, Ellie Andrews, who makes a hasty decision to marry King Westley, a gold digger of the worst sort. After her father lectures her for the decision, Ellie leaps from his yacht and rushes away to meet Westley in New York.

As Ellie tries to outwit her father's detectives, she meets newspaper reporter, Peter Warne, on a bus. Warne's arrogant personality doesn't allow Ellie the special treatment that she expects given as a wealthy woman. Ellie reacts poorly to his treatment and the two begin a love-hate relationship.

After Peter discovers Ellie's identity, he agrees to help her arrive safely.....
