Tyler

The Tyler played by Brad Pitt is created in the mind of Narrator. When the Narrator discovers that he hates everything about his life, his subconscious mind creates a second personality who can take all of his suppressed desires and act them out. With Tyler, he creates an underground organization known only as Fight Club where men can take out their frustrations by beating each other. Since the first fight is between Tyler and the Narrator, Fight Club truly begins as a battle between one man and himself. It begins with an inner struggle and an expression of self-hatred and expands to become an expression of revolt against the constrictions of society.

After Fight Club takes off, the Narrator and Tyler also start Project Mayhem. The Narrator keeps this part of life only in Tyler's world and is surprised when he discovers that Project Mayhem is a dangerous...
