Compares and contrasts two books based on the Arthurian Legend, The Mists of Avalon by Marion Zimmer Bradley, and Knight Life by Peter David. Discuses plot, summary, and some major themes in both books.
King Arthur is a simpleton growing up, one of the common folk of England. He is a very trusting person in T.H. White's novel, allowing his best man, Lancelot, to do as he pleases through most of the book. Mustapha Mond from A Brave New World, on the opposite hand, is a free-roaming spirit in his early days, questioning the political correctness of the government he lives in, but becomes a leader of the government who absolutely sticks to the rules imposed upon the entire population.
