Anne frank and Me is a book by Cherie Bennett and Jeff Gottesfield. Nicole Burns'is protagonist in this book. Her class goes on a field trip to a museum exhibit about Anne Frank. Anne Frank is a 15 year old Jewish girl that was alive in the midst of World War Two, (WWII) she was hiding from the Gestapo, in a place that Anne called the Secret Annex. Anne frank also kept a diary that the public found after she died, about her life. Someone fires a gun and a loud "boom" echoes throughout the exhibit. Startled, Nicole hits her head and receives a concussion. When she awakes, she imagines herself in France during the period WWII took place.
