Summary: A summary and review of the movie "Amelie," a romantic comedy with a lot of twisted situations, emotions, and feelings coming through the constant worries of the main characters.
Amelie is a marvelous romantic comedy full of imagination, fantasy and fun. The story starts with the depiction of Amelie's young childhood. We can see her as quite a reserved girl who grows up isolated from not only other children but also from her own parents with which she does not have much physical contact. Her farther, a doctor, mistakenly believes that Amelie is suffering from a heart condition that causes an increase in her heartbeat. But this is only happens during his medical check-ups. Her mother is as an indifferent person, but very soon she is becoming a victim of a freak accident involving a suicide from the top of a church. She dies. As she becomes older Amelie discovers unusual changes to her imagination; she starts looking at things differently. Living no longer with her single father Amelie makes a living working in a small Montmarte...
