Discussion of the Character of Beowulf

Summary: The character of Beowulf shows many different aspects, like heroism, being a true warrior and leadership. Because of his character, Beowulf was seen as a hero, he was respected by everyone and was a remarkable king.
The way that people were thinking in the story is very different then the way that people think in the 21st century. For them, heroes and kings are very important to have unlike now. Beowulf, who was a hero and a king in the story, had different characteristics. One of them, which is very obvious, is that he is a hero. Another one that defines him is that he is a courageous warrior and finally, leadership is another aspect that is part of the character of Beowulf .

During the story, Beowulf shows many signs of heroism at different occasions, for example when he came from Geatland to defend The Danes from the evil Demon who goes by the name of Grendel.
