Aggression

Summary:   Aggression can be constituted as behaviour by an individual that can inflict physical and psychological damage on another being. This aggressive behaviour is nurtured by environmental factors such as social issues being war and the type of upbringing the individual has.


Aggression is a complex term and often recapitulated into a simple phrase as stated by the Pocket Oxford Dictionary "The act or practice of attacking without provocation." It can be constituted as behaviour by an individual that can inflict physical and psychological damage on another being. This aggressive behaviour is nurtured by environmental factors such as social issues being war and the type of upbringing the individual has. Aggression is caused in many ways by these factors but emotional loss is assumed to be the main rationale for this hostile behaviour. Aggression is a mentality; expressive through such conduct as dominant behaviour, abuse of power and irrational behaviour.
