A New Country

Summary:   In our new nation, we are aiming to create an economic system that mimics the United State's: a capital system with government regulations. Instead of an entirely capitalist system, ours will regulate the growth and actions of business while allowing them enough freedom to make decisions for themselves. One of the most important restrictions is one on big business monopolies.

The following is an outline of the basic functions of our new nation; the United Territories of Howard County. Since our successful succession from the United States, we have had to consider all of the different aspects of our government. We are striving to become a capitalist representative democracy, with many of our basic economic principals based off of the United State's system. Several key points of discussion in the creation of our new government are: government involvement in business, personality traits desired in an individual, expectation of the school system, and law enforcement.
