Summary: For many years Canada's gun violence has been on the rise but now it has hit its all time peak. The death toll is escalating and with the help of society and the support of the government, we can make a massive impact on this growing issue.
Historically, Canada's gun violence has been on the rise since the 1970's. (cite) Presently, it's at an all time high. In order to stop this massacre, we need the combination of society and the government to work together and stop it by tugging at the grass root of the problem. Anti-violence groups need to be heard in order to stop idling youths, enforcing fiercer disciplinary action and investing in more youth rehabilitation centers can help insure domestic tranquility. By implementing awareness about preventatives programs, transmission programs and stricter penalties in Canadian Legislation, gun violence should decrease.

The youth of today find crime to be a game. Furthermore this has resulted in 68 murders in our city and two thirds have been shootings.
