Summary:
'Cold Mountain' is the story of two people that were drifted apart by war, and their both physical and mental journey's back to each other. Throughout the novel Inman meets many different and cultured people which is a parallel to the 'Odyssey' because Odysseus travels far away and similarily on his way home meets many of the Gods who help him on his way.
