This unit in Drama we have focused on a specific type of drama, Expressionism. Rather than the realist types of drama I have experienced in other years, this seemed new to me and a lot more complex. Even though the unit was some what interrupted with other projects and activities, we based the unit on three basic terms that were found in the expressionist drama: Montage, the Alienation Effect, and Geste. These three terms have been developed through various projects and activities in this unit that have helped me understand the three concepts. Firstly, I will explain my final understanding of the three terms and then how the specific activities helped me understand them.
