Alvin Toffler and his wife Heidi are both American authors and futurists, who are highly recognized around the world for their ideas and visions concerning events that they assure will happen at some point in the future. They both form part of a counseling program, Toffler & Associates, where they work as global foretellers. Throughout their lifetime the Tofflers have written numerous influential books together, including the bestsellers Future Shock and The Third Wave, in which they discuss the expansion of computers and the impact of technology, introduction of cable TV, the breakup of the Soviet Union, the change to a global economy, and many other predictions that he made long before we became aware of them.
