Was the Period 1924-1930 an Era of Fulfilment?
Summary: To what degree was the League of Nations successful in achieving its aims of maintaining peace after World War I and removing the underlying international causes of conflict? In spite of its initial weaknesses, the League of Nations lived up to some of the expectations of its founders during the 1920s. The agreements reached during this period inspired hope for a peaceful future but left certain flaws unresolved.
