Politics, as defined by Dictionary.com, is the activities or affairs engaged in by a government, politician, or political party. Politics are everywhere you look, all over the world including the United States of America. Everyone has different views and issues they favor, ultimately creating political parties. The two major parties are the Democrat Party with its symbol as a donkey and the Republican Party with its symbol as an elephant. There are several other smaller parties, too many to mention. New parties spring up everyday. Like most people in America, I favor the issues/views of both the major parties, but if I were to pick one party to join I would choose the Republican Party.
