Summary: Details about a psychological research study of adolescents and tests they took for Attention Deficit Disorder.
This is a study in behavioral impulsivity. The conductors of this study sought to do a comparitive analysis between a group of subjects using a multiple measures. This was because most previous studies relied on a single measure, making the comparison between measures difficult. Where measures such as self report questionnaires, biological, and behavioral tests had been used separately in past studies, they had not been integrated. The goal of this study was to incorporate all measures of impulsivity. "Because impulsivity is a multi-dimensional construct it would be best to take a variety of factors into account, including behavioral, biological, social and environmental." (Dougherty, Bjork, Harper, Marsh, Moeller, Mathias, Swan (2003))
