There are many different ways in this world that people try to achieve their goals. Some people say that you can achieve any goal through hard work. Others will stop at nothing to obtain their goal. In Macbeth, Lady Macbeth and Macbeth are faced with an obstacle they need to overcome in order for Macbeth to become king. In Macbeth, Lady Macbeth appears to be more determined and ruthless that Macbeth.

Macbeth waivers in his feelings about how to deal with Duncan. This shows that Macbeth is a very fickle person. Initially, Macbeth felt that he needed to kill Duncan so he could be king.
