Summary:   The play Romeo and Juliet was written by William Shakespeare. Franco Zeffirelli directed the traditional version of Romeo and Juliet. Three years later Baz Luhrman=s with great joy directed the modern version of Romeo and Juliet. Both of the death scenes of Romeo and Juliet are interpreted, differently by each one of the directors.

The play Romeo and Juliet was written by William Shakespeare. Franco Zeffirelli directed

the traditional version of Romeo and Juliet. Three years later Baz Luhrman=s with great joy

directed the modern version of Romeo and Juliet. Both of the death scenes of Romeo and Juliet

are interpreted, differently by each one of the directors.

In the Traditional version of Romeo and Juliet, the death scene took place on a movie set

which was in a dark and gloomy grave yard very suspenseful with know one around except for

Fryer Lawrence who was presenting the ceremony and then of course the Guards who were all

around the family tomb which Juliet was.....
