The Outsiders

Summary: The Outsiders, written by S E Hinton, revolves all around Sodapop and his best friend Johnny. They are in a gang called the `Greasers'. The members are Two Bit Steve, Dallas Winston (Dally for short), Sodapop, Johnny and Ponyboy. They are from a poor run down working class area and they are not rich while their enemies the `socs' who are from the richer families live in the west side, wear nice, smart clothes and drive Mustangs. The two gangs hate each other.
The Outsiders is written by S E Hinton. The book is all about the Curtis family, which consists of three brothers. They are Darry who at twenty is the legal guardian. He looks after his two younger brothers. Sodapop is 17 and is the "cute" member of the family. He just dropped out of High School; the main character is Ponyboy.

The storyline of the book revolves all around him and his best friend Johnny. They are in a gang called the `Greasers'. The members are Two Bit Steve, Dallas Winston (Dally for short), Sodapop, Johnny and Ponyboy.
