Summary: This is a step by step project that will help others and doing voluntary work that will benefit the society. It's a personal essay of my journey into a homeless shelter and my view of how they help the public.
Who the Project is to benefit:

Families that needs housing or shelter in San Jose.

People Involved:

Saran and Serena: We are in one group.

My mom, Elsa: She drove us to the shelter on our first visit, which was on November 14th.

Serena's mom: She drove us on our second visit at the shelter, which was on December 20th.

Susan Webster: She is the volunteer coordinator

At first I had trouble finding a shelter place on my own so I think that's why it took us a while to start the project.
