Short Stories of Edgar Allen Poe

Summary:   A comparison of three mind-twisting short stories by Edgar Allan Poe: "The Cask of Amontillado", "Pit and the Pendulm", and "The Fall of the house of Usher." All these great stories create a euphoria of emotions and thoughts that take readers on a roller coaster ride through the intriguing world of Poe.

Edgar Allen Poe was a master and genius in an era full of great expectations and promising hope.

Building off of his early works, Poe blossomed into a literature conductor, harmoniously growing works that are still popular today. Among his short stories many are easily compared and contrasted. These include, " The Fall of the House of Usher," "Pit and the Pendulum," and "The Cask of Amontillado." Some of Poe's works such as "Pit and the Pendulum" were even made into a movie providing a universal outcome of epic tales. Analyzing these works, a light is cast for generations of poets and enthusiasts to walk in the deep footsteps to follow for years to come.
