Children and teenagers wore jeans because they had saw movie stars wearing jeans in the movies which influenced them to wear jeans. Cowboys' wore their jeans because they needed something that was comfortable when they were on a saddle. They also wore jeans because the jeans looked good with the cowboy boots they wore. Mechanics and other workers wore jeans because they work in grimy environments.
