Alice Walker was a pretty girl. She had always been so since she was a small girl and first distinguished any kind of look. A not always perfect girl of course, as we all know, that with life comes fault. Throughout Alice's life though, she was always and extremely intelligent girl. Top of her class, honor role, citizenship awards, athletic, a social girl with many friends...you know the type. The one thing that always bothered her was the fact that though she was pretty and smart, well the problem was her weight.
