Our Thirty-Second President

"The only thing we have to fear is fear itself", stated a hero in his inaugural speech on March 4th, 1933. He led by this statement this for his terms of presidency and brought optimism and trust back to the United States. Many unfortunate instances occurred during his time in office, but never once did he let his country down. After all, Franklin D. Roosevelt must have been an American hero if he served this great country for thirteen years.

On January 30th, 1882, in Hyde Park, New York, Franklin Roosevelt was born. Franklin was related to many past Presidents including John Adams, James Madison, and George Washington. Being raised as an only child, he was pressured by his father, James Roosevelt, and mother, Sara Roosevelt who home-schooled him until he was fourteen to become a well-rounded and educated man.
