Set in the late 19th century when mystery and supernatural powers are in motion this movie transports its viewer into the life of a monster slayer Van Helsing. Van Helsing works for the `Holy Order' based in Rome who are in charge of vanquishing evil from the face of the earth, evil that mankind doesn't even know exists. The first part or the introduction of the movie begins from a vision from the past that shows us the creation of the Frankenstein monster by Dr. Frankenstein in a castle (Fig 7) given to the Dr. by Count Dracula for a purpose (Fig 2).
