Essay | Why People Need Heroes

Most people agree with Hemmingway when he said, "As you get older, it is harder to have heroes, but it is sort of necessary." Heroes are necessary, whether you are young or old. They are there to help in more ways than one. They help motivate and get people through; they set good examples and are good to look up to; and most importantly, they help people keep their innocence.

Inevitably, everyone will go through some point in their life where they need a hero; someone to save them. For there are many things that we cannot complete or achieve without some sort of outside help or influence.
